Method Contribution: Kristin has a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Mississippi State University. Upon graduating, Kristin began her professional career at the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury as a Public Utilities & Transportation Auditor. For 4 years, she oversaw valuing and allocating taxes for in-state telecommunication companies. During this time, Kristin was also on a team of Legislative Liaisons, working closely with the Tennessee General Assembly to tackle issues such as board structure, reasonable oversight, and ensuring residents are able to count on their utilities, cities, and counties. Kristin’s previous experience as an auditor allows her to think outside of the box while prioritizing attention to detail, strengthening our underwriting process.
Hobbies: As a Nashville native, the city offers more than enough to keep Kristin busy. On days off, she’s on the move, running, paddle boarding, and exploring the city with her friends. Kristin is also an avid traveler, with her favorite destination being the California Coast, where she is in the process of teaching herself to surf. But nothing beats her love of baking! Her favorite goods to bake are chocolate chip, raspberry ribbons, and earl gray lemon lavender cookies - wow...just wow.
