Title: Underwriting Assistant

Method Contribution: Prior to joining Method, Steven worked in mortgage lending, foreclosure, and retail management. This experience helped him grow his relationship building skills which served him in his career transition to insurance. Steven spent 7 years as an Underwriting Service Assistant with State Farm where he was responsible for processing policy changes on behalf of the agent and policyholder. He was also tasked with being a Team Resource, which gave him the opportunity to assist his peers with processing efficiencies and work with managers to train new hires. Steven’s responsibilities at Method include working directly with Underwriting to support the processing of new and renewal accounts.

Hobbies: Born and raised in Dallas, Steven recently moved to Nashville with his girlfriend Kaleigh and cat (Smitten). When he’s not working, Steven’s all about personal fitness! He hits the gym often, hikes, and competes in Strongman competitions. Through drive and dedication he’s proud to have lost over 100lbs since 2018. Go Steven! During his free time, you’ll find him fishing, hanging with friends/family, and cooking. His favorite meal to prep is a sausage egg white muffin. Steven’s a big fan of breakfast so whether it’s a sandwich, burrito, or just plain ole’ bacon and eggs, “the most important meal of the day” is going to be his top choice every time.
